Welcome to the Cleckheaton Shotokan Karate Club website
We are proud to be part of the English Shotokan Academy (ESA) and members of the European organisation the Shotokan Ryu Kase Ha school of karate founded by the late Shihan Taji Kase 9th Dan.

We are a friendly club (established since 1972) and practice traditional Shotokan Karate, which was founded by
Gichin Funakoshi (1868-1957). We have a good mix of both juniors and seniors, with many black belt Dan grades.
