Club History

Cleckheaton Shotokan Karate Club was established in 1972 and was a vibrant and successful club within the KUGB. In 1998 we joined the ESA and continued to thrive. Our current instructors have been with the club for many years with a combined karate experience of over 40 years. The club instructors are 2nd Dan graded level and we have regular visits from senior instructors within the ESA and the photo above is from a recent grading with Sensei Geoff Beasley 7th Dan.
